From this weekend Chaipatty & Mother Earth are conceptualizing a monthly activity calendar that will bring people close to art, crafts and a more ethical way of living. Each weekend on Sunday we will focus on a creative process that will involve a small workshop on building on a certain hobby or creating a unique product for day-to-day use.

Most of these products would have already been seen in a purely commercial and non-eco-friendly design format. Making them from a natural approach is not only cheaper and self sustainable but also eco-friendly. That’s where the whole Mother Earth & Chaipatty initiative makes sense.

Activities one can look forward to every Sunday at the Domlur based Mother Earth store:

1) Pottery & Painting
2) A surprise traditional handicraft workshop based on products available at Mother Earth.
3) Picnic based interior limited yet wholesome lunch by the Earth Cafe that has a Veg/Non-Veg sandwich or a salad, a piece of cake, beverages hot and cold.

The best exhibits shall be displayed in Mother Earth for a week with the names of the winners and then handed over to the rightful owners with their gifts.
